Issue 8 of Beneath The Surface returns with a mixed bag of editorial content and a celebration of discovery — the atmosphere, intent and stories that make each artist’s identity uniquely their own. “Four memories, one conscious, existing to fade.” Our feature artist, The Eternal, has been an established act in the Australian scene for quite some time, and we are so pleased to feature them. What makes their story bond with us is the collaboration between two cultures, Australia and Finland. Through the process of creating music and working as a team, they have created their latest album, Obscured Horizons, via Reigning Phoenix Music, set for release on September 18. Also featured in this issue: Metalite – An Age of Discovery (Perception Records) The Kovenant – Nexus Polaris Resurrected (Soundworks Touring) Our Last Enemy – Still Breathing Lumen Ad Mortem – This Month’s Groundswell This issue also includes: Perpetual Paradox – Review of the Month Artist Spotlight – Flotsam and Jetsam New Releases Gig Recap and Gig Guide Tours Recap and Tours Guide The Vault Issue 8 is available now in digital format through FlippingBook via the Headbangers Australia website.
