SUMIDIA Binderless is polycrystalline diamond that directly binds nano-order diamond particles with high strength without using any binders. Harder than single- crystal diamond, it has no cleavability, enabling machining of hard brittle material such as cemented carbide and making new machining methods possible. ■ General Features · S UMIDIA Binderless is a pure diamond material, but unlike single-crystal diamonds, it has no anisotropy. It therefore displays excellent wear resistance with less uneven wear. · T hanks to its polycrystalline structure, SUMIDIA Binderless does not have the cleavability peculiar to single-crystal diamonds and displays excellent fracture resistance. ■ Features
