EskoWorld Launches First Live Event In Three Years More than 450 packaging and label converters and industry experts convened at the Gaylord Tex- an Convention Center & Resort in Grapevine, Texas on June 7-9, EskoWorld. Jan De Roeck, Esko Director of Marketing, In- dustry Relations and Strategy, kicked off the event with a presentation detailing how the need to ac- celerate digital transformation is being exacerbat- ed by the ever-changing challenges faced by busi- nesses today. A keynote speech from Maimouna Diakhaby, As- sociate Partner at intelligence experts McKinsey, examined the five key industry trends McKinsey identified in 2019 that have further evolved during the pandemic. A special interaction suite featured continuous live demonstrations of everything from 3D technol- ogy that helps packaging designers achieve maxi- mum on-shelf standout through to 100 percent in- line printing inspection for narrow web and labels. The event’s closing speaker was Randy Pierce, President and CEO of Future in Sight, a non-profit organization dedicated to transforming the lives of those who are blind, visually impaired, and their families. The 2022 event marked EskoWorld’s return to a live setting, having not been able to welcome at- tendees in person since 2019. Information and registration details for EskoWorld 2023 will be announced later this year.
