Winston Cowie: I will continue to push hard for positive marine policy outcomes for the marine environment in Abu Dhabi and will be a voice for the climate change in Antarctica – what is happening there and how it is relevant to the world’s net zero strategy. Looking back to look forward and respond to our changing world: Jacque Cousteau gave the mission to Sir Robert Swan to protect Antarctica; who has in turn given that mission to us. And we are up for the challenge. In the words of Sir Robert Swan, “The greatest threat to our planet is the belief that someone else will save it.” .
