Despite these hardships as well as the complexi- ties and troubles caused by working in unstable countries, the Network has managed to fulfil its mission in accordance with the highest pro- fessional standards. As the challenges faced by Al Jazeera are endless, particularly in countries where respect for journalism and freedom of expression is not observed, Al Jazeera will keep developing its strat- egies to counter possible and potential threats. Moving forward, the Network is increasingly equipped to face any challenge with its wide geographic presence, vast network of news and information sources, and more importantly, the credibility it has established among its audi- ences during the last twenty-five years of bold professional journalism. These factors will certainly help Al Jazeera’s performance across the most difficult working conditions, and in the face of various types of pressures and obstacles. Add to these factors, the network’s continuing use and development of the latest technology in relevant fields, com- munication, broadcasting, and information security.
