Law No. 21 of 2001 Amending Certain Provisions of Law No. 1 of 1996 Establishing Qatar Public Satellite Channel Corporation Article 1: The name “Qatar Public Satellite Channel Corporation” shall be replaced with the name “Al Jazeera Satellite Channel” in the title and articles of Law No. 1 of 1996 referred to above and wherever men- tioned in other legislation. Article 2: The text of Article 12 of Law No. 1 of 1996 referred to above shall be replaced with the following text: “Article 12: The minutes of the Board meeting and its resolutions shall be recorded in a special register with numbered pages, signed by the Chairperson, or the Vice-Chairperson in the Chairperson’s absence, and the members present”. Article 3: All competent authorities, each in their respective jurisdiction, shall enforce this law from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
