Law No. 10 of 2011 on the Conversion of Al Jazeera Satellite Network to a Private Corporation for the Public Benefit Article 1: Al Jazeera Satellite Network shall be changed to a public utility private corporation by a memorandum and articles of association in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 21 of 2006, and shall be named “Al Jazeera Media Network”. Article 2: All immovable and movable property of Al Jazeera Satellite Net- work and the rights and obligations assigned thereto or thereon shall be devolved to Al Jazeera Media Network immediately after its establish- ment as a private corporation for the public benefit in accordance with the provisions of the preceding Article. Article 3: As a private corporation established for the public benefit, Al Ja- zeera Media Network shall be exempted from all taxes and fees and its property may not at any future time be attached or acquired by takeover or prescription. Article 4: Until the completion of the procedures for establishing Al Jazeera Media Network as a corporation and appointing the Board of Directors, the management of its affairs shall be undertaken by the Al Jazeera Sat- ellite Network board. Article 5: The employees of Al Jazeera Satellite Network shall continue working for Al Jazeera Media Network, with their same prescribed status, salaries and benefits, until the Board of Directors assumes the
