CONTINUOUS AIRWORTHINESS REQUIREMENTS & INSPECTIONS • 1,200 Hours/2,400 Cycles/12 Months: Visual • 2,400 Hours/4,800 Cycles/24 Months: Dye Penetrant & Eddy Current • DHC PSM 1-6-2, PSM 1-6-5, & PSM 1-6-7 • DHC Service Bulletins & Airworthiness Directives DHC MODIFICATION REQUIREMENTS The following must be installed: • Mod. No. 6/1301 – incorporation of new rear spar cap (7075-T7351), (ref. S/B No. 6/295) Mod. No. 6/1868 – introduction of additional drain holes (ref. S/B No. 6/485) • Mod. No. 6/1869 – installation of inspection holes in lower wing skin (ref. S/B No. 6/486) • Mod. No. 6/1887 – introduction of steel adapter fitting (ref. S/B No. 6/500) • Mod. No. 6/1645 and 6/1893 – lower skin and leading edge rivets @ front spar replacement (ref. S/B No. 6/517)

No. 6/1117 Wings AUTHORIZATIONS United States FAA STC No. SA00827LA Canada STC No. SA99-214 DESCRIPTION The DHC-6-100 Wing Life Extension Modification extends the fatigue life of DHC-6-100 Pre-Mod. No. 6/1117 wings an additional 10,000 flight hours/20,000 flight cycles to a new life limits of 35,000 flight hours/70,000 flight cycles. The modification includes the addition of wing lower skin straps and provisions for repetitive inspections.
