However, digital cameras are not always an option. 300 DPI is the ideal resoluton for print in collateral and proposals. Please shoot at the highest DPI your camera or phone will allow and shoot at an aspect ratio of 1920x1080, if your equipment has the capabilities. Please no 4:3 aspect ratio photos. FILE TYPES
Shooting in camera RAW is ideal for post editing. This format takes up a lot of hard drive space, so it is understandable if some smartphone cameras cannot handle the size. JPG is ideal if shot at maximum size and 300 DPI. JPG is a lossy file type and over compression will cause production issues. TIF files are not neccessary, the file type has massive file sizes and are still a lossy file format.
