Once the issue has been addressed, the Team must return the Drone to a legal starting position before re-entering the Match. The Match timer will continue running and will not be reset. This rule is applicable to all Match types, including Teamwork, Autonomous Flight Skills, and Piloting Skills. <T8> Drone Re-Takeoff During a Match. If a Drone lands or crashes—whether intentionally or unintentionally—the Pilot may attempt to take off again and continue the Match. However, the Drone may not be touched at any time during this process except as defined in <AM12>. <T9> Flooring for competition fields must be consistent with each other. a . All Teamwork Mission fields must have the same type of flooring that allows Balls to roll smoothly. Examples of acceptable flooring include: i. Hardwood ii. Laminate iii. Concrete iv. Low-pile commercial carpet a . All Autonomous Flight Skills and Piloting Skills Mission fields must have the same type of flooring. <T10> Be prepared for field minor variances. Field Elements and PVC Perimeter placement may vary by +3”. Placement of Game Elements may vary by +/-1”.  It is expected that there will be minor variances in field layouts. As long as the field is consistent for every Team at the event, all Teams will have the same opportunity for success. <T11> Scoring is evaluated after the Match has ended. All scoring statuses are evaluated after the Match ends, once all scoring objects on the field come to rest. Pilot inputs and Drone motion are expected to cease when the Match timer reaches 0:00. Any scoring which takes place after the Match due to a Drone continuing to fly will not count. Drones must be landed by 0:00 on the Match clock in order to be considered landed. <T12> Match replays are allowed, but rare. Replays of a Match (i.e., restarting and playing a Match from the beginning) are at the discretion of the Event Partner and Head Referee. Replays will only be granted in the most extreme and exceptional circumstances. Examples of situations that may justify a Match replay include: a . Score-affecting field faults, such as a malfunction in the competition field setup. b . Balls placed incorrectly at the start of the Match, impacting fairness.
