Mission 2026 Time Warp Competition Manual

AERIAL DRONE COMPETITION • REC FOUNDATION

We recognize Flight Team Members’ hands will momentarily break the plane to place the Ball on Launcher or tip the Launcher so that the loading end is touching the floor. Flight Team Members should be mindful of Drones flying nearby and remove hands as quickly as possible.

The Visual Observer is permitted to tip the Launcher back to reload Balls

Violation Notes: Introducing Match Load Balls by any method other than what is specified in rule <TM3> is a Violation. There is a distinction between accidental and intentional Violations. Accidental Violation: If a Ball is unintentionally introduced into the field (e.g., the Visual Observer drops a Ball and it bounces in), the Team will lose the Loading Station Cleared points for that specific Loading Station Additionally, the same number of illegally introduced Balls will be removed from the field. The Head Referee will remove the Ball(s) from the highest-scoring Zone at the end of the Match. The Team will receive a Warning. Repeated Warnings may result in Disqualification (DQ). Intentional Violation: If a Ball is deliberately introduced into the field illegally (e.g., rolling a Ball in by hand) the Team will also lose the Loading Station Cleared points for that Loading Station and an equal number of illegally introduced Balls will be removed from the field. The Head Referee will again remove the Ball(s) from the highest-scoring Zone at the end of the Match. This type of Violation will result in an immediate Disqualification (DQ).

<TM4> Pillars Cleared. A Pillar is considered Cleared if it meets the following criteria: a. The Ball is not on top of the Pillar. b. The Pillar is upright, with its base flat on the Floor.
