Piloting Skills Mission Scoring The Referee will actively score the Match while the Drone is in flight. Teams may complete tasks in any order. It is recommended that the Referee verbally confirm each task as it is successfully completed by the Drone, for example, by stating, “Phase 1 complete” or “Phase 2 complete”. To assist with accurate scoring, it is also recommended that the Team’s Co-Pilot stands next to the Referee to help confirm tasks as they occur.

Piloting Skills Mission Scoring Definitions and Rules <PM1> Take off. The Drone has completed Take off when the Drone has lifted entirely off the ground after the start of the Match. <PM2> Piloting Skills Mission Flight Path. The Flight Path is divided into three phases, each consisting of specific tasks that must be completed in the listed order below and the direction, as shown in Figures 48. A Phase is considered complete when all tasks within that phase are successfully completed in the correct sequence. a. Phase One. i. Fly under the Red Arch Gate (See <AM2>) ii. Fly through the Green Keyhole Gate (See <AM3>)
