AERIAL DRONE COMPETITION • REC FOUNDATION

Piloting Skills Mission Scoring During the Piloting Mission, teams must follow the designated Flight Path, which is divided into three sequential phases, each with specific tasks. All phases and their associated tasks must be completed in order. The Referee will actively score the match while the drone is in flight. It is recommended that the Referee verbally confirm each task as it is successfully completed (e.g., “Phase 1 complete,” “Phase 2 complete,” “Small Hole Bonus earned”). To support accurate scoring, it is also recommended that the team’s Co-Pilot assist the Referee by confirming task completion as it occurs.
