• Coding Award - The Coding Award recognizes the Team with the most effective and consistent use of coding techniques and programming design solutions used in the Autonomous Flight Mission. This award is earned by a Team that demonstrates a solid understanding of programming concepts and has documented multiple iterations to find successful programming solutions. Performance Award - An award presented at an event based on performance in the Teamwork Mission and Skills Missions. • Teamwork Mission Champions • Skills Missions Champion

Competition Logbook A record-keeping tool that provides Students with an opportunity to develop essential Skills such as project and time management, brainstorming, and both written and interpersonal communication. Teams can maintain their Logbook using either a traditional physical notebook or a range of digital tools, such as software applications or cloud-based platforms. To learn more about Competition Logbook contents visit the RECFevents.org.
Some events may only accept physical logbooks, while others may require digital submissions. In these cases, physical logbooks can be scanned and submitted electronically, and digital logbooks may be printed for submission.
Be sure to check the event details on RECFevents.com to confirm which format is accepted. Competition Logbook Rubric An assessment tool used by judges to evaluate the quality and completeness of the Competition Logbook at a competition. Team Interview A face-to-face (or virtual) conversation between a Team of Students and judges. It’s an opportunity for Teams to share their design process, Teamwork strategies, learning experiences, and overall approach to the Missions.
Team Interview Rubric An assessment tool used by judges to evaluate a Team’s responses to a Team Interview.
