RACQUETBALL COURTS

• First come first served reservations in one-hour increments • A $5 paid fee guarantees a court reservation up to 3 days in advance • Reservations are forfeited after 10 minutes if no show • Children between 7-15 years of age may use the court when accompanied by any person 16 years or older • Raquets, raquetballs, and protective eye wear are available for rental at the front desk • $10 court rental punch cards are now available for $35 each

MEMBERSHIP INFORMATION Become a member and join the excitement! Use of the Rowlett Community Centre is available for Rowlett Residents and Non-Residents. Rowlett Residents may receive the resident membership rate by presenting two forms of identification establishing Rowlett residency. An annual membership is valid for one year from date of purchase. Monthly memberships are valid for 30 days from date of purchase. Please present your membership card at the front desk each time you visit the facility. A $5 daily drop-in fee will be assessed when the membership card is not presented. Replacement cards may be purchased for $5. Guests 17 years and younger must have a release form signed by a parent or legal guardian before being issued a membership card or day pass. Children ages 6 and under must always be supervised by a guardian over the age of 16 years. RESERVATIONS FACILITY

• Reservations must be made in person at the Rowlett Community Centre located at 5300 Main Street • Reservations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and can be made up to nine months in advance of the date of your event • Rooms may be reserved both during and after normal business hours any day of the week • A refundable deposit is REQUIRED to secure your room rental. The balance is due no later than two weeks prior to your rental • Reservation cancellations or changes will only be accepted directly from the lessee • Refundable deposit fees are not applied towards your rental fees • Reservations that include alcohol must pay for license and an off-duty Rowlett officer to be present during the reservation (4-hour minimum fee to be paid to the Officer on Duty and license fee) • Lessees need to include set up and clean up time within the reservation alotted time

Parent/Child (6mo - 3 yrs) $69 This class is an introduction to the water for the toddler, ages 6 months to 3 years, and parent! Water safety and cueing is emphasized in this class. One parent per child must be in the water for the duration of the class. Tadpole (Preschool Level 1, ages 3-5 yrs) $69 Learning through games is applied at this level. Children learn safety around the pool as well as water exploration. Getting the face wet and feeling comfortable. Frog (Preschool Level 2, ages 3-5 yrs) $69 Introduction to water skills including water entry/exit, submerging face, exhaling, and opening eyes under water, floating, roll over, and basic stroke introduction. Shrimp (Level 1, ages 6+) $75 Introduction to water skills including water entry/exit, submerging face, exhaling, and opening eyes under water, floating, roll over, and basic stroke introduction. Seahorse (Level 2, ages 6+) $75 Focus is on stroke development including freestyle, rotary breathing, breaststroke, back- stroke, butterfly, swimming in deep water, and basic assists. Shark (Level 3, ages 6+) $75 Stroke improvement including freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, butterfly, elementary backstroke, and safety. Swim Team Prep (Level 4, ages 6+) $75 This class is for swimmers who have passed Swim Level III to bridge from stroke techniques to competitive swimming techniques. In addition to stroke refinement swimmers will learn flip turns and how to use a pace clock. Participants without the proper prerequisite skills will be moved to another program if available or refunded. Adult (ages 13+) $75 Focus is on introductory water skills and stroke development.

Rowlett Rays 2023 Swim Team (Activity #400002) Monday-Thursday, June 5-July 15 Fee: $150 Ages: 6-18 Come join the Rowlett Rays (Wet Zone) swim team. Whether it is polishing your swim technique and skills, or if you are new to swimming competitively, we have a spot for you! Practice times to be determined based upon enrollment and skill level. Registration fee includes team t-shirt and TAAF regional swim meet fees. Circuit meet fees will need to be paid weekly ($3/event). Swimmers can compete in TAAF circuit swim meets, the regional swim meet, and if qualified, will be able to attend the State Games of Texas meet. If a participant makes it to State, all fees must be paid by the participant prior to attending. There will be no practice on May 29 for Memorial Day.
