MVP SKILLS AND TRAINING (Activity #210205) Tuesdays, May 2-30; Jun 6-27; Jul 11-25 Beginner class: 6-7pm Intermediate class: 7-8pm Ages: 5-14 years Fee: $45; Drop-in fee is $12 MVP Skills and Training sessions are designed to unlock young athlete’s talent by teaching core basketball skills, help improve confidence, and take ownership of their personal development. Sessions will focus on specific skills, each broken down to its key elements to help the athlete understand and develop a solid foundation. Participants will also learn how to set realistic goals and work through problems or obstacles independently and as a team member. What to bring: Water bottle and basketball Apr 26-May 17, 5-5:40pm, Fee: $60 May 24-Jun 21, 7:30-8:10pm, Fee: $75 Jun 28-Aug 2, 7:30-8:10pm, Fee: $75 Ages: 5-7 years The coaching technique and lesson structure is specifically tailored to suit the 5-7 year age group and has a distinct emphasis being placed on fun, agility, balance, coordination, and motor skill. We also introduce rules and “good sport” behavior. This practice is done with a bigger, slower ball on a smaller court setting. No class July 5. INTRO TO TENNIS Wednesdays, Apr 26-May 17, 5:40-6:40pm, Fee: $74 May 24-Jun 21, 6:30-7:30pm, Fee: $92.50 (B) Jun 28-Aug 2, 6:30-7:30pm, Fee: $92.50 Ages: 8-14 years Intro to Tennis is formulated for students who have played little or no tennis. We cover all the fundamental strokes of tennis such as forehand, backhand, and how to serve. Lessons include skill-building activities that speed learning with the purpose of setting them up to be able to hit the ball back and forth with the coach. No class July 5. SOCCER STARTERS (Activity #210723) Thursdays, May 4-25; Jun 8-29; Jul 13-27 4-5pm Ages: 3-5 years Fee: $40 This class is designed for the youngest soccer players on the field. Basic soccer skills will be covered during each practice, and each practice will end with a scrimmage. What to bring: Tennis shoes and water

FOOTBALL SKILLS AND DRILLS (Activity #242441) Wednesdays, May 3-24; Jun 7-28 Beginner class: 6-7pm Intermediate class: 7-8pm Fee: $45 This is a safe alternative for children who are interested and want to learn how to play football yet maybe a little hesitant to join a football club or team. Athletes in this class should anticipate a challenging but instructional program that focuses on fundamentals, lessons in teamwork, and sportsmanship. Class will be held at Katy Railroad Park, 2600 Lawing Lane. What to bring: Water bottle and football TAE KWON DO (Activity #220201) Tuesdays/Thursdays, May 2-30; Jun 6-29; Jul 6-27, Aug 1-31 6:30-8pm Ages: 6+ years Fee: $35/$55 7th degree black belt, Bobby Blakey, has 30+ years of training experience with numerous black belts under him and sits on the board of the Texas Martial Arts Federation. Discipline, power, focus and conditioning are just some of the things you will learn in this year- round program.
