If you’re holding this program, thank you — because it means we made it! Improv Asylum is back at 216 Hanover Street, our home for almost 30 years. You may have heard: a plumbing disaster shut us down and forced us to relocate to Lil Chuck in the Theater District. It was a shitty situation. No one asks for a flood that wrecks your livelihood. No one could have predicted it and no one was asking for it. But... What we got was a reminder that when you’re surrounded by people who love what you do, you can survive almost anything. Our incredible cast never missed a beat, our staff handled the impossible, and our fans — you — followed us across town and back. (Well, to the Theater District, but still...) So. Welcome to our “Grand Reopening.” We’re so glad you made it. Thank you for coming. If you love the show, tell a friend, leave a review, grab a t-shirt — we’re rebuilding and we appreciate it. And if you have any feedback or just want to drop a line, we’d love to hear it. Feel free to hit us up at info@improvasylum.com Welcome back! OR... WHAT WE ASK FOR vs WHAT WE GET

James Melloni James Melloni is an absolute unit with a heart of gold. After receiving a Groupon for Christmas from his Mom to take improv classes, the former animation script writer found his way to Improv Asylum. James teaches, writes, and performs eight shows each weekend with dreams of one day having a bit part on a CW television show. Nothing too big, maybe he owns a shop that the other more physically attractive main characters hang out at. You can follow him @jamesmelloni on most socials. Madison Gillis Madison grew up in a small farm town as one of six kids. Feeling the need for more attention, she hit the road for the mid-sized city of Boston (not before getting stuck in tractor traffic). She found herself at Improv Asylum and decided “that’ll do pig”. Madison’s excited to continue her run with the Main Stage cast, where she hopes to keep making people laugh. If they don’t, she will pack her bags and head back to the simple life.
RHETT SOSEBEE As a child, Rhett dreamed of becoming a dolphin trainer—mostly because he hadn’t discovered improv yet. Now, he’s thrilled to be on the Main Stage cast at Improv Asylum. Originally from Alabama, Rhett moved to New England in 2016 and immediately began taking classes at IA. He is a graduate of IA’s Training Center and has performed on IA’s House Teams and NXT casts. Rhett thanks his family and friends for their unwavering support, and his dog Hughie for being perfect. You can follow him online @KidDolphin64, which was his original AIM screen name (the dolphin obsession was real). Boston’s Best Stand-Up Club Period Hold up. You realize we’re saying “Period” as in, “Case Closed,” or “End of Discussion,” right? Not “period” as in the punctuation mark. Either way, some of the funniest nationally touring headliners come through Laugh Boston every weekend and perform with some
of Boston’s best. But none of it matters if we don’t figure out this punctuation stuff. So, hit us up on the DMs at Improv Asylum and or Laugh Boston and let us know if you knew what we meant. Or if you just wanted to say “Hey, Tyler” -- it’s the same guy working both accounts. No requests for feet pics, plz.

Find out more at AsylumTeamBuilding.com * Carla from HR is the example we gave here. Your HR rep might have a different name altogether. Or maybe you don’t have an HR department at all. Let’s not get caught up in the details — the thing is, if you get your organization to book a team building program, you win. But also, your organization wins. And honestly... Don’t we all need a win right now? Team Building Programs Corporate Training Everyone Will Love
