If you’re holding this program, thank you — because it means we made it! Improv Asylum is back at 216 Hanover Street, our home for almost 30 years. You may have heard: a plumbing disaster shut us down and forced us to relocate to Lil Chuck in the Theater District. It was a shitty situation. No one asks for a flood that wrecks your livelihood. No one could have predicted it and no one was asking for it. But... What we got was a reminder that when you’re surrounded by people who love what you do, you can survive almost anything. Our incredible cast never missed a beat, our staff handled the impossible, and our fans — you — followed us across town and back. (Well, to the Theater District, but still...) So.
