Dear Friends,
Two of my favorite days of the year are coming up-Father’s Day and 4th of July.
I grew up idolizing my dad. He was a military man in the Philippines.
He would spend the week away from us on assignments. I remember being so excited looking forward to the weekend when he would come home.

My dad taught me a lot. Hard work…dedication…discipline…and giving it your best in everything you do. His inspiration is in no small measure instrumental in why I immigrated to this great land of ours.
I was recruited out of college to come to the US...and these days I like to say I came here “legally”. I usually get a chuckle when I say that. I became an American citizen in April 2006. Whatever your political inclinations may be, I can sincerely say that the United States is still the greatest country on earth. I know how it is on the other side. And I count my blessings every day…and am thankful for all the men and women, past and present, who gave and continue to give us this great gift of freedom and independence.
Happy Father’s Day and an amazing 4th of July to all of you!
