Recommendation Given the sensitivity of the subject and the events sparking the Black Lives Matter movement, which prompted the urgency to address a name alternation, we recommend this transition, should the board approve, be done quickly and as discretely as possible. In order for this to successfully be completed to quietly launch our updated name by Mid-Year, we recommend the same solution that was presented in the Name Change Resolution that was provided during the October 2, 2020 board meeting, which is to temporarily change our name to the “Indian Gaming Association”, which would be the most subtle and easy change to make until the board can come to a consensus on the permanent name change and whether or not the permanent name change will come with an overall rebrand of the organization.
