3.1.3 Solving Systems of Linear Inequalities (continued) Example 3 Geometry Application

Recall that a four-sided figure is a quadrilateral. A quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel opposite sides is a trapezoid. A quadrilateral where both pair of opposite sides are parallel is a parallelogram. A parallelogram where all sides have equal length is a rhombus. If the consecutive sides of a parallelogram are perpendicular, then the parallelogram is a rectangle (opposite sides have equal length) or a square (all sides have equal length).
