MANAGING ORGANISATIONAL CULTURE
The Annual Joint Manchester Industrial Relations Society and CIPD Manchester Branch online event in collaboration with the Work and Equalities Institute. The aim will be to show how these different but linked environmental forces have helped to destroy any remaining credibility of the culture management school, and to highlight the implications for theorists and practitioners. This promises to be an insightful and challenging talk and discussion on issues fundamental to championing equity, diversity, and inclusion in the modern workplace.
This challenging talk by eminent and influential Emmanuel Ogbonna, will look at existing understanding of culture management in the context of recent developments in organisations and society that have been brought about by Covid - 19 pandemic and the Black Lives Matter movement. Following his presentation Professor Ogbonna will be joined as a discussant by Dr Wilson Wong, CIPD ’ s distinguished Head of Insight and Futures and Interim Head of Research.
