Wise Hot Rods Spotlight Builder
T This year the Spotlight Builder for the Nationals North will be Wise Hot Rods. Jim Wise grew up in an automotive environment, his parents owned two car dealerships so his interest in cars came natural- ly. After graduating high school, he went into the tool and die trade which led him into the Aero-space industry. He then opened Wico Racing, where he made custom

speed parts and built engines. After the speed shop closed, Jim started a career in the Van Conversions/RV Industry which eventually led him to the VP position of research and development. The automotive indus- try was going through many safety regulation changes concerning seat frames, which led to new development of frames and seat restraints to be able to meet new highway safety regulations. While working in the automotive industry, Jim starting privately building his own hot rods. This led to the development of Wise Guys Seating and Accessories along with Wise Hot Rods, a separate sister company. Today, Wise Hot Rods has been building custom classic cars for many customers for over 40-plus years. Ladies Tea Once again Karen Carter and Ann Rose, along with help from the North Central Division Ladies, will host the Ladies Tea at the Nationals North. As in years past the Tea will take place at 1:30pm and be held in the Auditorium. Location and time will also be noted in the Official Event Guide.
