It’s easy to figure out all the big things that are right or wrong during a short drive, but the only way to know all the little things that make it truly your car is to put some miles on. Let’s take a look at the result of one man’s journey down that road. The frame has been fully boxed with a tubular center crossmember, the rear was Z’d, and it’s been bobbed front and rear. arms, a Flaming River rack and pinion, Aldan coil- overs, and Wilwood brakes. The rear suspension is also a Heidt’s independent with Wilwood brakes actuated by a billet master cylinder by Master Power, tubular A-arms, Aldan coilovers and a 3.50 posi differential. The powerplant of choice is a 5.7 LS1 (346ci) wearing Borla ‘Eight Stack’ injection, Holley Terminator ignition and computer, Sanderson headers feeding Borla mufflers, Scott’s Hot Rods valve/coil covers, a Concept One front runner pulley system, and it’s all backed up by a built 4L60E electric automatic overdrive.
