How Physical Therapy Can Help

In many cases, physical therapy can help patients increase leg mobility. In doing so, they can stretch, flex and strengthen the muscles responsible for supporting the joint. If you are experiencing pain then joint mobilizations, dry needling with electrical stimulation, or Class 4 Deep Tissue laser may be beneficial. If a joint appears deformed, or if sudden swelling occurs, contact a physician immediately. A good physical therapy program can assist with post- operative treatment as well. If you’ve undergone surgery for hip or knee replacement, meniscus tear, dislocation or a fracture, your therapist can help you reclaim full mobility— and a healthy lifestyle. From start to finish, we’re dedicated to your ongoing wellness. On every level, physical therapy serves to enhance the patient’s quality of life. We’re here to help, and we have years of experience backing every therapy option. Contact one of our providers today, and tell us about your symptoms. Stephanie Campbell PT, DPT, FAAOMPT, DIP. OSTEOPRACTIC

An avid soccer player in her youth and a Collegiate ClubWomen’s Soccer player at the University of Florida, Stephanie, like many young women, experienced ACL injuries. Undergoing the necessary surgeries led her to the local physical therapy front door. Her positive experience during the rehab process made it clear to her… she wanted to pursue a career in physical therapy! Completing her Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, followed by a Doctorate of Physical Therapy, only made her hungry for more. In 2019 Stephanie was accepted into and completed fellowship training in Orthopedic Manual Therapy. More currently, she is frequently requested to serve as a teacher’s assistant to dry needling courses as well as to guest lecture at multiple physical therapy teaching programs. Her background as a patient of the physical therapy rehab process gives her a unique insight to what it takes to help you recover both mentally and physically from an injury and return to the sport/activity you love. Today Stephanie’s athletic interests include CrossFit, yoga, running and weight lifting.
