Parkhurst Dining was established in 1996 as the contract dining division of Eat’n Park Hospitality Group, a family-owned company. Eat’n Park has been a consistent family restaurant presence in western Pennsylvania since 1949. Our business is entirely centered around food, and we are proud to serve over 75 client partners in just two lines of business: private higher education and corporate dining.

OUR METHODS OF PURE CRAFTSMANSHIP INCLUDE: •Our pizza dough is freshly made from scratch. • We hand-bread our fish and chicken in house. •We only serve real mashed potatoes, and we fresh cut French fries every day. •Our soups and sauces are made from scratch, using real and fresh ingredients to make stock. •All of our prepared salads and deli salads are made in house. •Entrée meats and seafood are prepared fresh in our kitchens.

We’re a chef-driven organization, not a purchasing-driven organization. Our Executive Chefs have the creative autonomy to build their own menus on- site, following our Gold Standards and each partner location’s palate as their guide. That means they can make the most of the seasonal and local bounty to develop menus and dishes that reflect the various palates and tastes of our guests rather than following a repetitive cycle menu.

WE KNOW OUR SOURCE • • • At Parkhurst, food is at the center of our world. Our passion for food begins with knowing where and from whom we source our products. We love local products and supporting small businesses, not only because it’s a great differentiator for our partners, but also because it supports the local economy. Through our Know Your Source program, we build genuine relationships with farmers, makers, and artisan producers in a number of ways: FarmSource ® partners grow, raise, or catch oue produce, dairy, eggs, seafood, and meat. Forged Partners ® are small, artisanal food businesses that we've personally vetted and share our passion for quality ingredients Local Partners are any FarmSource or Forged Partner located within 100 miles of our partner location

We believe our people are our greatest asset, and we seek to create smiles every day for our guests and our teams. It starts with investing in our people by placing them in the right roles, giving them the tools and guidance to succeed at their jobs, recognizing their many contributions, and providing continuous learning and growth opportunities.

CREATING SMILES IN OUR COMMUNITY We give 5% of our pre-tax earnings back into the communities in which we live and work and boast impressive annual volunteer hours featuring our annual Day of Caring (pictured above) and our annual Volunteer of the Year award. Through Feeding America, we support local food banks in all of the communities across our footprint and to date, we've raised over $11 million for children's hospitals and charities.

Parkhurst supports you with a District Manager who has fewer than ten client partners so that you get the individualized and in-person attention you deserve. You have access to our executives and will know them by name, because we believe in earning your trust through authentic connections.
