To supply steam turbogenerators and the entire energy distribution system. The equipment supplied includes three steam turbines. One of these is a backpressure turbine, responsible for delivering steam to the pulp production process, and the other two are condensation turbines, which are responsible for transforming excess steam into electrical energy to supply the factory and for absorbing fluctuations from the production process. To deliver a full-featured board scanner, the RS- BoardScannerQ (6m), complemented by the RS- StrengthGrader system for strength grading, and additional components for automated moisture measurement. To supply a complete tissue line; the new AHEAD 1.8 machine (PM2) has a sheet width of 2,800 mm and a production capacity of over 30,000 tons/year. It is equipped with TT NextPress shoe press technology to ensure optimal drying efficiency, a TT SYD Steel Yankee Dryer, and high- efficiency TT Hoods. The supply also includes the complete stock preparation system, Toscotec’s upgraded Distributed Control System TT Brain DCS, as well as the full electrification system. To deliver a second Bruks truck tipper platform; the new contract follows the completion of a similar installation at the facility in August 2024. Both units have been ordered as part of an ongoing modernization program at the mill and are designed to perfectly integrate with the existing infrastructure. Both new 19.9m (65ft) tipper platforms are part of a drive-over truck receiving system and replace long-serving equipment; a third truck dump has also been identified for modernization. All systems handle wood chips, which are destined for the mill’s 450,000 metric ton annual capacity fibre line. The Windsor mill generates 90% of its energy from renewable resources, reuses more than 97% of its manufacturing byproducts, and plants half a million trees a year in Domtar- owned forests
