To modernise PM1 including an approach flow upgrade, MasterJet4Tec headbox with EdgeMaster, DuoShake DG250 and the upgrade of the existing cleaning and screening with new InduraClean cleaner stage, an IntegraGuard screen and a ComMix static mixer. To deliver a press roll for the TwinRoll wash press; this will ensure the availability and performance of the press and increase its lifetime. Valmet Perforated Plate HF on roll surface enables high drainage capability and a long lifetime. Plates are assembled on one-piece mantle, providing maximal support for high press loads. The roll has exchangeable edge rings and a three-chamber lining system for reliability and serviceability. To supply a Valmet IQ Web Inspection System (WIS) for inspecting paper quality produced on PM1. Signed a long-term agreement; by leveraging the capacity of Adven’s modern district heating plant, Nordic Paper secures a stable and efficient heat supply for its production while contributing to a more reliable and optimized energy system. This collaboration allows Nordic Paper to focus more on its core business. To supply a full stock preparation system for a new 250tpd production line; the order includes a full scope from pulper to approach flow, featuring AFT’s energy-efficient pulping, refining, cleaning and screening technologies. To supply a Valmet IQ Web Inspection System (WIS) to inspect paper web quality. The Valmet IQ WIS has new high- performance Valmet area cameras that enable high-resolution imaging even at fast web speeds. Low-angle reflection inspection geometry enhances the visibility of 3D surface defects like scratches and wrinkles, and glossy defects like roll marks. Transmission inspection geometry with new Valmet area cameras enables high CD and MD resolutions at the machine's fast operating speed, allowing the detection of unseen defects and detailed defect pictures from holes, dirt spots, contaminations, and cracks. Valmet IQ Winder control system with defect handling and automatic braking system to optimize winding and coating processes is also included. Have signed a service agreement to secure the availability and performance of the paper machine line; the agreement is for three years, with the option of being extended by a further two years. The comprehensive service agreement includes roll maintenance, key process and equipment audits, preventive maintenance services including spare parts for the machine line, and remote support services for the winder. Have continued and extended the ongoing service contract for mechanical maintenance in the stock preparation which has been running since 2019. The agreement focusses on effective maintenance planning, efficient use of resources, ontime repairs and trouble-shooting solutions.
