Holiday Schedule Changes: Watch for additional skate times on November 11. Parent & Tot Skate (Infant - 5 years) This is a special drop-in time for parents and preschoolers to share the joy of skating. Extra toys and equipment will be available during this skate as well as our snow box for toddlers to enjoy. Lap skating is not available during this session. Public Skate (All Ages) Enjoy skating with your friends and family of all ages. Staff will be on site to assist with skating aids as well as give tips to new skaters. Hockey Sticks and Figure skating are not permitted. Adult Skate (18+ years) This is a great addition to your fitness schedule. Enjoy lap skating with friends. Hockey Sticks and Figure skating are not permitted during this session.

Financial Assistance is Available! We want to enable as many people in our community to participate in our programs as possible. We do this by removing barriers to participation in our programs and facilities, offering financial assistance for those in need, and consistently providing low-cost activities. New Westminster residents can receive a 50% discount on eligible registered programs and the Family Skate (All Ages) This is a session devoted solely to family fun. Arena staff will ensure parents and kids have a great time with lots of organized games. An adult must accompany all children during this sessions.

Reserved Drop-in Fees: 50+ Skate

Reserved Stick & Puck (18+ years) This session is designed to work on your skating skills in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. All participants must wear a helmet, gloves and bring your own stick. No goalies, scrimmages, slap shots or formal instruction. This session is designed to be slower paced. Reserved Adult Hockey (18+ years) This is a great workout while keeping your skills sharp and the body tuned! Staff do not supervise this session and players will organize and play their own games. Each session is limited to 18 players and two goalies. Full Gear is recommended. Skate rental and sharpening are not available.

Figure Skating Stick & Puck Adult Hockey

Reserved 50+ Skate Register to enjoy lap skating. Limited spots are available. Queen’s Park Arena does not have a skate shop, therefore skate rentals are NOT available. Hockey sticks are not permitted at this session. Reserved Figure Skating (All ages) Looking for some open ice to practice figure skating? Space is limited, pre-registration is required. Please note there is not a skate shop or staff supervision for this skate. This is a public program, no personal music will be permitted.

Our spooky staff will lead loads of creepy, crawly on and off-ice activities for the whole family to enjoy. Dress in your costumes and enjoy some extra special freaky family fun! Your grade determines what level you are eligible to register in next and are viewable at 8:30 am on the last day of your lesson set. If your last lesson set was prior to 2021, you may need to check in “Logs” for your grade.

Skate with Santa Dust off your ugly Christmas sweater and prepare to get festive, Santa is coming for his annual on-ice visit! This night is full of family fun and Santa’s sleigh will be available for a DIY family photo opportunity.
