Prominent OQs Two Old Queenians playing in the Ireland Cricket Squad for the forthcoming ICC Men's T20 World Cup

Congratulations to OQ Ffion Hand (date at 2016 - 18) who has been announced as part of the 15 man Ireland squad for the forthcoming ICC Men ’ s T20 World Cup, starting next week. In addition, Stephen Doheny who joined the Queen's College Cricket programme for the Summer term in 2015 is also part of the squad.

Q 21 October: Ireland v West Indies Fionn joined Queens in 2016 having attained a Leinster Cricket Union exchange programme which covered the time frame April until July. Fionn was also delighted to receive an Academic and Sports Scholarship.

Fionn joined in year 12 and boarded in Channon House. During Fionn ’ s time at Queen ’ s, he participated in representative games and training with the college. He was also actively involved in many different aspects of school life. This included the performing arts.
