Longrun Meadow Parkrun Queen ’ s Takeover!

On Saturday 8th October, Queen ’ s are taking over the majority of volunteering positions at the Longrun Meadow Parkrun in Taunton. To name some of our wonderful volunteer staff, we have Mr Free, Mr Cooling and Mrs Ross marshalling, Mr Noad and Mrs Sherman timekeeping, Miss Booton taking photos, Mr Tarr tailwalking and Mrs

Webber and Mr Holder scanning, as well as many other staff and pupils! We would also like to see as many of our Queen ’ s community joining the staff. We still have a few volunteering positions remaining that we would like to fill with staff, pupils or parents to support this wonderful community event. Please email me and I will add you to the volunteering list. Instructions will be given nearer the time if needed. If you don ’ t fancy volunteering, but fancy a 5km run, jog or walk, it would be wonderful to see you joining us in this way. It starts at 9:00am prompt in the Longrun Meadow. West End Singing Dancing and Acting Masterclass

Three top West End performers will be visiting Queen's College for a fantastic one - day intensive of practical masterclasses in singing, dancing and acting!

Daniele Coombe, Fletcher Dobinson and Rose Reynolds have starred in top West End shows, TV and Hollywood movies and they will offer unique insight into professional technique and style. Daniele will focus on the modern musical theatre voice, Fletcher brings the hottest new choreography and Rose offers insight into audition technique and stage acting. You will have the opportunity to chat, learn about their incredible experiences and even take a cheeky selfie!
