AS MOST OF YOU KNOW, our friend Baxter Black hasn’t been feel- ing well recently, so we went on a search in the CALF News library, looking back on our long history with American’s favorite cowboy poet. As you can see, Baxter has been with us a long, long time.
In June 1982, Baxter Black was pictured in CALF News telling stories to Arizona cattle feeders.“Highlight of the occasion was a hayride to the desert ghost town, huge steak dinner and an evening with the peripatetic Dr. Baxter Black, the veterinarian with a great remedy for humans – laughter."
