How to Start a New Hire Check-In Manager Evaluation

To be completed after meeting with employee and conversation has taken place.

1. Login to your manager account (Client side) for Paycom (client code: 0VZ63) 2. Go to Talent Management > Performance Discussion Forms > Begin Performance Discussions

3. Select the following dropdowns: a. NOTE: Under ‘Discussion Template’ dropdown you will want to select either the 'MGR Eval – 60’ or ‘MGR Eval – 120 day’ (depending on which check-in you are completing for your new hire)

4. Input ‘Date of Conversation’ for when the conversation took place with your new hire. 5. Enter any comments regarding the bullet points that were discussed with your new hire (achievements, areas for improvement, issues/concerns that have been brought up, etc.). 6. [Optional] You can upload any applicable documentation (kudos email, evidence of an issue to work on, etc.) if you click ‘Add Document’ and select the applicable file. 7. Once complete, click ‘Submit to Approver and Email’ button (Approver = Employee)

8. The Performance Discussion Form will be sent to the employee who will be able to review and add their comments.

9. After the employee signs, it will be returned to you one more time for review of employee comments and your signature/acknowledgment. Click ‘Approve, Forward and Email’ to sign and finalize.
