Life Insurance Basic Term Life and AD&D Insurance This coverage is provided by NextGen Healthcare at no cost to you .
This NextGen Healthcare provides you with a company-paid benefit of one times your annual salary in basic term life insurance and accidental death and dismemberment (AD&D) insurance up to a maximum of $200,000*, for each insurance type. Company-paid coverage is automatic; you do not need to enroll. Employees are taxed on the value of basic life insurance coverage over $50,000. You will see this listed on your paycheck as Group Term Life. Employees who occupy a role of SVP or above will be eligible for NextGen Healthcare’s Executive Benefit package including individual executive life insurance policies. * Age reduction: Your benefit amount reduces to 65% of the benefit at age 65 and 50% of the benefit at age 70. You may choose to purchase additional life and AD&D insurance coverage for yourself, your spouse or domestic partner, and/or your children through New York Life . You pay the full cost of this supplemental coverage through easy payroll deductions. You must purchase coverage for yourself in order to purchase it for your dependents. Name a Beneficiary! Be sure to designate a beneficiary for your life insurance coverage. It is good to review your elections at least once a year to ensure they reflect your current wishes.
