Process Overview On-Site Collection

The process begins with the secure pickup of electronics directly from the client’s location. Our trained staff handles the materials with care to ensure chain-of-custody integrity from the very start. Secure Transport Collected equipment is securely transported to our processing facility using tracked and safeguarded logistics to prevent tampering or loss during transit. Sorting Upon arrival, items are sorted into two categories: data-bearing devices and non-data-bearing devices. This allows us to apply the appropriate next steps based on the type of equipment received. Data-Bearing Devices → Data Destruction Devices that store data, such as computers, phones, or servers, are immediately sent for certified data destruction. We sanitize all data by NIST 800-88 or DoD 5220.22-M standards. Refurbish Once data has been securely destroyed, qualifying devices may undergo refurbishment to restore functionality and prepare them for reuse. Remarket Refurbished devices that meet resale standards are securely remarketed through vetted resale channels, allowing clients to recover value while supporting reuse and sustainability. Non-Data-Bearing Devices → Dismantle & Process Devices that do not store data are dismantled into their core components for further processing. This includes the separation of plastics, metals, and circuit boards. Recycle All dismantled materials are then responsibly recycled through certified downstream partners in full compliance with environmental regulations. Reporting The process concludes with comprehensive reporting. Clients receive documentation, including Certificates of Data Destruction, inventory tracking, and compliance records, accessible through our client portal.
