Thank you for your interest in the post of Lead Property Develpment Manager (Southampton Port) at Associated British Ports. This is part of the new ABP Property strategy in their Southampton Port Property team and it will be central to the success of the future development pipeline and revenue growth. Associated British Ports (ABP) is the largest port operator in the UK. It is also one of the biggest commercial landowners in the country. With a landbank of over 1000 hectares, a tenant portfolio of over 1,000 tenants and strategically located ports, ABP has a uniquely diverse portfolio. Access to cross-sector growth opportunities, makes it a forward-thinking, fast-paced and dynamic place to work. Now is an exciting time to join the business, as the new ABP Property leadership team has worked hard to devise a strategy to unlock new growth pathways, which are currently at the stage of implementation. This means there are more opportunities for asset management and maximising value through new development. This is why the company is looking to expand the team and secure the right skills to deliver these goals. ABP’s ambition for growth is complemented by the company’s strong focus on sustainability and enabling the UK’s clean energy transition. In February 2023, ABP launched a sustainability strategy, Ready for Tomorrow, which sets out its plans to become net zero by 2040 at the latest.
