T hanksgiving always has been about tradition, but that does not mean your home has to look like a craft store exploded in orange, brown and fake leaves. I love tradition. I also love giving it a little facelift. Modern Thanksgiving design is less about filling every surface with pumpkins and more about creating a warm, beautiful atmosphere
where people want to linger. Here on the Coast, we have even more freedom to rethink what Thanksgiving can look like. Our holiday season does not always come with crisp leaves and sweater weather. Sometimes Thanksgiving looks more like sunshine, seafood, an open patio door and somebody still wearing flip-flops. And honestly, I think that gives us permission to have a little fun with it.
