u Creating and enforcing Casino/Tribal Policy and or Tribal Law u Developing an action plan & protocols to address Human Trafficking with Law Enforcement, staff, management, tribe. u Develop a tribal code or law that addresses Human Trafficking. u Develop a working relationship with tribal, state, and federal law enforcement. u Provide joint training with law enforcement and other entities that can assist you. u National Human Trafficking Hotline 1-888-373-7888 humantraffickinghotline.org u Know what to look for and who to report it to, follow your approved plan.

Important:
Do not intervene in a trafficking situation

u However, train people on how to report trafficking
u After one training, we may want to “Rescue” someone, however we need to put those energies into reporting to law enforcement and or task forces
u Observe, report, follow your policy and protocols.
u Be a good witness, communicate in real time, provide a thorough description of what you see.
u Remember, if you are watching them, there is a likeyhood that they are not alone. 34
