HÉLÈNE DARROZE AT BORD EAU BY NICOLAS ISNARD 50 BEST SIGNATURE SESSION Hélène Darroze is a former holder of The World’s Best Female Chef title whose London restaurant holds a coveted three Michelin stars. She also oversees La Grande Table Marocaine in Marrakech, named The Best Restaurant in Morocco 2024. Darroze and her team will bring Moroccan haute cuisine to our Michelin Guide 2025 listed French restaurant, Bord Eau by Nicolas Isnard, for a feast of international gastronomy. Chef de cuisine, David Tavernier will join forces with Hélène to present a gourmet Four Hands dinner paired with the finest wines.

This practice which dates back many centuries, begins with the dotting of the eyes bringing the lion to life. The lions sway to the rhythm of the beating drums as they perform a ‘Cai Qing’ or the plucking of auspicious greens before making their way through the Qaryat Al Beri complex. The ceremony is then followed by a ‘Yee Sang’ toss that is set to bring prosperity as we begin the ‘Year of the Snake.’
