With the assistance of an outsourced IT department (often known as a Managed Service Provider or MSP), they’ll figure out your existing infrastructure and correct problematic equipment with ease and efficiency. They also stay up to date with the latest technology and security issues too. They will quickly get your IT systems running smoothly - allowing your team to focus on being productive!

Hardware Management Whether you’re setting up new kit for new team members, upgrading to more powerful equipment or replacing old tech, there are always jobs to be done supporting your IT infrastructure - it never stops!

Let your team get on with growing your business - whilst we take care of supporting your IT.

If you have an internal IT department, outsourcing these mundane tasks can save you time, money and you dont need to worry about holiday cover or staff sickness. Investigating problems can be a large part of the job and incredibly time consuming. Trouble shooting and making sure your team remain efficient is all part of having the support of a good MSP.

Setup for new starters and upgrading to newer devices can be relatively straightforward thanks to cloud profiling. Transferring your files from one machine to another may seem simple but can often take hours of valuable time that could be used more wisely - growing your business. Often, you’ll run into issues with devices slowing down as they get older. Mobile phones and laptops tend to have a set life expectancy. This can also be due to operating systems being out of date or the battery starting to deteriorate.

Identifying these problems can be difficult for some but easily identifiable and solved by IT specialists - we have a team ready to support you!

Supporting Business Typically, there are 2 types of computers used by SMB’s: PC’s or Mac’s - and their associated Operating Systems: Windows & iOS. The choice of Mac versus PC and Windows versus iOS can be as simple as personal preference of management, but can also be driven by your industry - for example the creative industry such as graphic design, video production etc typically relies on Apple Macintosh (Mac) technology.

Many businesses typically use Windows machines over Mac equipment. This is usually due to lower prices of the technology used and level of support which is offered. Windows laptops and desktops computers have more controllability than Mac computers due and are much easier to maintain as part of your Infrastructure ‘estate’ . Aside from the type of operating system they support, there is a wide range of performance capabilities. This is the case for both Windows and Apple. When deciding the level of processing speed you require, the programs they will be running will have to be considered. For example, if you’re using CAD software, you may need a ‘top end’ machine to cope with the processing power required. If you’re looking to use video or image editing software, it would be best to go for a mid to top level machine. Anything lower, a ‘standard’ performance computer will do the job – when using the Microsoft 365 suite for example.
