so cut as to fit, unnoticed, back of the “D.” The front of the “D” should be black and the back gold. The inside of the "O” should be gold. Before the class gathers, the “D,” concealing the folded 4 “O,” should be fastened to the black-, board with thumb tacks.« If the tacks are put along the edge and not through the paper, they will hold and yet allow the parts to be slipped out when neces sary.) LESSON:.This black “D” reminds me of disobedience. Paul was disobedient to the gospel of Christ at one time, and did all he could to discourage the Chris tians. However, the time came when he was changed and could say, “I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision” (Acts 26:19). This change came when he accepted Christ as Saviour. Instead of, being disobedient, Paul became obedient and considered himself debtor to others, that they might also receive Christ. By cutting this “ D” we will see what Paul became. LCut the “D” 1% inches to the right of the left side, through the top and bottom, which will make capi tals “I” and "U.” Unfold the “O” in the back And fasten with thumb tacks' on the blackboard between the ‘T” and “U.” ) We now have I. O. U. in letters of gold. Paul was no longer .disobedient. After^ this change in his life, he could say, j . am ueoior uoui 10 ine «ireexs, and to the Barbarians; both to the wise, and to the unwise. So, as much as far me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are at Rome also” (Rom; 1:14, 15). You and I have a responsibility to tell others of Christ. If we are faithful to tell them, we can say with Paul, “I was not disobedient.” ■ Brief Truths The gospel means a specific message that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures. The gospel has a background of bad facts—good news is only such when it is given us in. the light of bad facts. . . . The whole Bible has to do with saving men from their sins.—E. V. Pierce. Remember that when you’re in the right, you tan afford to keep your tem per, and when you’re in the wrong, you can’t afford to lose it.—-Selected. one finds Christ. Did you ever sing ‘‘Happy Day” in church ? That song is " about the birthday of a soul that has found Christ. > LESSON STORY: “When a person takes Christ as his Saviour, that is called conversion. Perhaps no one ever had a more interesting conversion than Saul of Tarsus had. He was not always the friend of God. At one time he went about persecuting Christians. One day when he was journeying toward Damas cus, he saw a great light in the heavens. He fell to the earth, blinded, and heard a voice saying, “ Saul, Saul, why per- secutest thou me?” (Acts' 9:4). It was the Lord Jesus talking, for, you see, when Saul persecuted the Christians, he was really persecuting Christ. Saul was so surprised and touched that he was ready to do whatever God wanted, and when the Lord Jesus sent him into the city to talk with Ananias, he went gladly. Ananias told him how to be saved, and he received his sight again, and afterward God seht him out to preach the gospel to the Gentiles. Later, God gave him a new name, Paul. How grateful Gentiles, especially, should be for Paul’s ministry! Not many people have had such an unusual conversion as Saul of Tarsus had, but no matter how we come to Christ, our coming is always the hap piest day of our lives. It isn’t the way we come but the Person we meet that 'makes the happiness. Not many people are used in the great way in which God used Paul, but even a little child can do some things for God.

Acts 11:5 I was In the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it; came even to me: 9 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw four- footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air. 7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.

8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean hath at any time en tered Into my mouth. 9 But the voice auswered me again from heaven, What God -hath cleansed, that call not thou common. 10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven. 11 And, behold, immediately thpre were three men already .come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me. 12 And the Spirit bade me go with
