Russell residents have presented a request to council, asking that the local library branch remain at its current location instead of moving to the new recreation complex in Embrun. The council has no plans to move the branch from its current location on Conces- sion Street. She said the campaign was intended to be proactive, rather than trying to change a decision after it had been made.
