Guernsey (2) Old Bird 5-bird nomination race update 9th July 2023

1st North Centre Section, Steven Parkhurst of Wellingborough on 1581 over 208 miles. Taking 1st North Centre Section was Steven Parkhurst and pictured is Steven’s

daughter, Emmie, proudly showing off one of her favourite pigeons for her dad. The pigeon is a five year old Soontjen Widowhood cock called ‘Mustard’. ‘Mustard’ has had his fair share of prizes over the years, taking 1st Club Blandford, 15th Open MNFC Carentan and many other club, Fed and National positions.

Steven has only managed two races this year due to health problems. He said that the BICC Guernsey was a terrific race and he would like to thank all at the BICC for their hard work. Steven would also like to take this small opportunity to thank his wife Gemma and daughter Emmie for all their help and support with the pigeons. It was Gemma encouraging Steven to send that resulted in him sending to Guernsey back in July. Mike Jackson BICC Press Officer Emimie holding one of her favourites.
