Living on Campus The residence halls are a great way to make close and lasting friendships. Approximately 47% of our students live on campus. s First-year students live in the Mingus Mountain or Thumb Butte Complex. s Residence hall rooms and suites are wired for high-speed internet. They also include social lounges, kitchenettes, study rooms and other common areas. s Staff members facilitate programs that support your social and academic life, such as hall socials, intramural competitions and floor dinners. s Additional living complexes provide suites and apartments for upper-division students. New Spaces s Construction has commenced on the new, $80 million T-3 Residence Hall. Comprising two four-story housing complexes, the new project will add 75 suites and 300 beds, full kitchens and large windows for natural light. s A new 44,000-square-foot student union is coming soon. It will include food services, event spaces, offices and more! s Soon, there will be a new 20,000- square-foot flight simulation center and additions to the current facility, as well as a new wind tunnel.
Food Menus We make sure you have lots of food choices every day — from 7:00 a.m. to midnight. Earhart’s Dining Hall serves a variety of food, including international cuisine, full breakfast with an omelet bar, “mindful” healthy meals that cater to our vegan and vegetarian students, grilled entrées, pizza, pasta, sandwiches, salads and more. Scholars Café in the Library — featuring We Proudly Serve Starbucks — is great for a croissant or muffin and caramel macchiato study break and offers snacks and wraps. WOW, located in the Student Union, serves chicken sandwiches and tenders, burgers and quesadillas — lighter fare includes a variety of salads and wraps. Simply to Go, a convenience store open until midnight, features your favorite snacks and beverages, including a variety of ice creams and protein bars. Eagles Café, located at the Flightline, features our famous breakfast burritos, made-to-order sandwiches and We Proudly Serve Starbucks Coffee Bar. Rocket Deli and Salads, located in the Student Union, offers gourmet sandwiches and salads plus seasonal limited-time offers. Turbo Hot Dog Cart offers all-beef hot dogs, sausages and bratwurst. Turbo is set up in front of AC-1 Monday through Friday from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Outdoor Adventures From our safe, small-city environment, you can reach 10 National Parks within a day’s drive. s Take a study break and head to the hundreds of miles of bike trails, six lakes and tons of insane rock face formations that are practically in our backyard. s The Grand Canyon is a two-hour drive away. s Four national parks are within a four-hour drive of Prescott. s It’s just a two-hour drive to Phoenix for the day or four hours to Las Vegas for a weekend. s Prescott is home to the World’s Oldest Rodeo and was once the capital of Arizona Territory. Check out the Old West historic district. s Rock climbing is close by on Granite Mountain or in the nearby Dells. s Prescott is listed as one of National Geographic’s Adventure Destinations. s Prescott has been named one of the top three “destinations on the rise” in the country as well as having the cleanest air of any city in the nation. s Snowboarding at Arizona Snowbowl is less than a two-hour drive away.
