As the old saying goes, “time flies when you’re having fun!” We can all agree this past year has been one for the record books. Most of us choose this business because we love the lifestyle—but it certainly makes it more enjoyable when we can get paid for it too! Welcome to our 27th Annual Production Sale. Thank you for taking the time to evaluate this year’s sale offering. Our bulls and heifers have performed exceptionally well, and we are excited about the depth and quality of this year’s lineup. We have incorporated several new sires alongside the proven genetics you’ve come to expect. We truly believe this is the best set of bulls we have ever offered and are confident we can help supply you with some of the best genetics available anywhere. We stand behind our cattle and provide a guarantee our customers can rely on. We are a family operation, and our entire sale offering was raised right here on our ranch. We take great pride in our cow herd and manage it using years of experience, including our “no-excuse” culling process and “common-sense” feeding program. At the same time, we fully embrace new technology such as DNA testing, ultrasound technology, and the use of EPDs. We recognize the importance of actual weights and measurements when analyzing production and making informed breeding decisions. All bulls and heifers are GGP-LD DNA tested, a genomic test that analyzes over 100K DNA markers. These results provide highly accurate, genomically enhanced EPDs that are more reliable than traditional parental averages. Ultrasound carcass data for the bulls will be available on our website prior to the sale. As always, you are welcome to stop by for an early look or give us a call with any questions. SALE LOCATION: Barenthsen-Bullinger Red Angus Ranch, Powers Lake, ND 8815 81st St NW, Powers Lake, ND 58773 • From Powers Lake: 3 miles east on Hwy 50, 2 miles north on Cty Rd 11
Volume Discount: A 5% volume discount will be given on the purchase of 3 or more bulls. Feeding: Bulls will be kept and fed free of charge until April 1. Delivery: Free delivery of bulls within a 500 mile radius. Delivery arrangements can be made at least possible cost to the buyer for furthur distance. Heifer delivery is the respon- sibility of the buyer. We ask that shipping on heifers be made as soon as possible. Guarantee: Bulls in the sale are guaranteed to breed. A breeding soundness exam will be con- ducted prior to delivery. If a bull is proven unable to breed from that exam, buyer will be given a full refund of purchase price, credit on next year’s sale, or a replacement bull of equal quality as acceptable to buyer. If a problem arises with a bull, please notify Barenthsen-Bullinger Red Angus immediatly. All bulls carry a first breeding season guarantee. A breeding season is defined as the 90 day period following the first turnout of the bull. If a bull is injured permanently and unable to breed cows, we will replace him or give credit in next year’s sale, less salvage of the injured bull. Heifers are guaranteed open and able to breed. Health: All bulls and heifers are in good health and are on the Select Vac program. Bulls will be given a breeding soundness exam by Marshall Hermanson, DVM, and will also receive two doses of Fusogard for foot rot prior to delivery. All heifers are bangs vaccinated. We’re not sure you can design a yearling herd bull with as much style and structural soundness as Hot Shot has. Sire BB Propulsion 9096 has been a tremendous asset to our program and is being used in many successful seedstock and com- mercial operations across the country. Dam Ms Hector 7010 produced lot 1 in 2024 selling to Nordlund Stock Farm, lot 1 in 2023 went to Mandan Lake Simmental, and lot 11 in 2025 sold to Lee McGinnity. We think Hot Shot has the potential to be the next step in advancing these highly proven genetics. We are selling full possession but will collect semen for use in our program.

Look at the length, style, and overall herd bull presence of this calf. BB Northbound 5160 is a dark red Identity son and exactly the kind we strive to produce. His dam is a beautiful Seneca daughter that knocked it out of the park with her first calf with a 106 MPPA.
