As I sit here writing this, I’m watching steer calves sell for $2800 per head at Bear Paw Livestock and its 40 above out the 20th of January. I think it’s safe to say that’s two things we would not have imagined happening!! It truly is a great time to be a cow calf operator, and I would say we were over due for times like this. Never has the demand for high quality livestock ever been higher. As you watch these video sales or the local cattle sales it truly pays to have high quality cattle. Cattle with length, growth and natural muscling bring premiums and we do our best to produce bulls that will produce that kind of cattle. With that said on behalf of myself, Sara, and the kids we cordially invite you to join us at our 18th Annual Production sale on March 2nd, 2026. It’s hard to believe this will be our 18th sale, we continually work to improve our genetics and stock to suit you, our customers. We have stayed true to our goals of trying to produce cattle that will add pounds, have eye appeal, carcass merit, and produce females that will stick around for the long haul. This year’s offering is a combination of breed leading AI sires as well as our owned sires. We will be offering a good combination of power bulls as well as heifer bulls. Bulls are raised on momma’s milk, grass, and salt and mineral. No extra pampering, creep, or irrigated pastures. After weaning they are sent to Hould Development center where they are fed a high roughage ration to promote growth and soundness. We feel confident in this set of bulls and as always stand behind them 100%. We will once again have fancy replacement heifers available following the bull sale. The Olsen family will once again have 40 head of fancy no brand F1 baldies. These have been very popular and well received over
the past several years. Heavily influenced by Weaver Hereford genetics! All reports on them have been very positive. The F Anderson Ranch will also be bringing 50 head of Angus replacements to town. This is a highly maternal herd, and Jett hand picks these heifers for the sale out of a large contemporary group. They will look like peas in a pod and the type that will stick around for years to come. These will have a heavy influence of Clear Creek Genetics. In closing we’d like to invite everyone to join us for a beef lunch and to view the cattle. - Teddy, Sara, Kruz, Jaxton, and Kane
