Midland Chamber: June 2026

NEWSLETTER MIDLAND CHAMBER OF COMMERCE JUNE 2026 - BUILT FOR BUSINESS -

A LETTER TO OUR VALUED MEMBERS MIDLAND-ODESSA WASHINGTON FLY-IN STAR-SPANGLED SALUTE LEADERSHIP MIDLAND & L.E.A.D. GRADUATION MIDLAND 20 UNDER 40 YPM UPCOMING EVENTS SAVE THE DATE: STATE OF HEALTHCARE MIDLAND CELEBRATES RIBBON CUTTINGS WELCOME NEW MEMBERS GOVERNOR’S SMALL BUSINESS SUMMIT

Many of the most important outcomes of Chamber membership cannot be measured on a spreadsheet. They are found in relationships built over time, in public trust earned through community involvement, in the visibility that comes from standing alongside other respected businesses, and in the shared confidence that comes from knowing we are building something meaningful together. For more than 100 years, Midland businesses have helped shape the direction, character, and grit of this community. Every generation has inherited something valuable from those who came before them and accepted the responsibility to continue building upon it.

A Letter to Our Valued Members

Above: Young Professionals of Midland (YPM) celebrates its inaugural class of Midland 20 Under 40 honorees. Below: YPM members volunteer.

For more than a century, the Midland Chamber of Commerce has represented something larger than any one individual, organization, or industry. Since 1924, businesses have come together through the Midland Chamber with the belief that strong communities are built through vision, investment, leadership, collaboration, and grit.

Today, that responsibility belongs to all of us.

Thank you for your investment in the Midland Chamber of Commerce, in the business community, and in the future of Midland. The work of building a stronger and more prosperous Midland continues, and we are grateful to have you as part of it.

That spirit remains just as important today.

Midland is defined by movement: businesses creating jobs, entrepreneurs taking risks, industries innovating, families forging community, and leaders stepping forward to serve. Like a high-performance engine made of hundreds of vital pieces, a strong business community depends on distinctive businesses working together, each serving a different purpose and contributing something essential to the strength and stability of the whole. Our members are family-owned businesses and major employers, entrepreneurs and established institutions, and everything in between. Each member is unique, and together they create the dynamic business environment that makes Midland special. Your membership empowers the Midland Chamber of Commerce to serve as a connector and voice for your business and the broader business community. It is not simply participation in an organization. It is participation in the larger engine that helps drive Midland forward. Because of your support and engagement, the Chamber is able to represent Midland businesses in conversations with federal, state, and local leaders. It allows us to bring people together around the issues and opportunities that shape our economy and our future. It allows us to invest in leadership development programs, helping prepare current and emerging business and community leaders. It allows us to serve as a connector between industries, institutions, entrepreneurs, and citizens who all play a role in Midland’s continued success.

Above: Critical conversations are convened at our State of Oil & Gas , State of Midland , and upcoming inaugural State of Healthcare

Together, we are Built for Business .

Sincerely,

Below: M-Squad Ambassadors , our renowned volunteer group, celebrate member ribbon cuttings, groundbreakings, and anniversaries.

The Midland Chamber and Odessa Chamber would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to our incredible sponsors for making the 2026 Midland-Odessa Washington Fly-In a success. From early mornings to late evenings, it was a full and productive few days in Washington, D.C., filled with meaningful conversations, policy discussions, and opportunities to elevate the voice of the Permian Basin at the national level.

We are especially grateful to our sponsors who made this experience possible:

Presenting Sponsor Diamondback Energy led the way in bringing this Fly-In to life, helping set the stage for meaningful engagement and impactful conversations at the national level. Liberty Sponsors Chevron, ConocoPhillips, and ExxonMobil played a vital role in supporting the mission of this trip, ensuring our delegation had the opportunity to connect, learn, and advocate on behalf of our region. Patriot Sponsors Community National Bank and Frost helped strengthen this effort through their continued investment in business advocacy and the future of the Permian Basin. Your support helps bring together business and community leaders to engage directly with decision-makers and advocate for our region.
