T he Serbian national carrier reached its two-millionth passenger for 2025 on the last day of June, with this milestone reached earlier compared to the previous year, when it was only achieved in July. “Two million passengers on our flights since the start of the year clearly show that the strategy we devised for 2025 was a good one. The result also confirms that Air Serbia is rightfully considered a leader in the region. As a national carrier, we proudly represent Serbia around the world, as shown by a recent survey conducted by renowned UK- based specialised portal Skytrax. We thank our passengers for their trust, and our employees for their hard work and dedication,” said Air Serbia CEO Jiri Marek. Air Serbia has expanded its network since the start of this year to include six new destinations. The national carrier launched direct services to Shanghai, Mykonos, Alghero and Tbilisi for the first time, while restoring its regular services to Florence and Geneva following an extended hiatus. The fleet has also been bolstered with two new aircraft: a wide-body Airbus A330-200 and a narrow-body Embraer E195. Moreover, with the goal of boosting the quality of the passenger experience at Belgrade Airport, Premium check-in counters have been opened for Air Serbia’s business class passengers. Alongside various operational activities, Air Serbia has also demonstrated its commitment in the sphere of social responsibility since the start of the year. In the first half of 2025, male and female cabin and flight crew uniforms from the previous collection were donated to the Sremčica Institution for Children and Youth and the Dressed for Success organisation. As part of the Strengthening Families project, conducted by SOS Children’s Villages Serbia, children from socially vulnerable families flew for the first time in their lives, flying aboard an Air Serbia plane from Niš to Belgrade. In partnership with public forestry company Srbijašume, oak and ash trees were planted in Belgrade’s Košutnjak Park, with which Air Serbia contributed to protecting and improving the environment of the community in which it operates.

ER SRBIJA PREVEZLA DVA MILIONA PUTNIKA VEĆ KRAJEM JUNA / AIR SERBIA REACHES TWO MILLION PASSENGERS AS EARLY AS JUNE
