skills. Other times it means working one-on-one with a math teacher on assignments that are more advanced than the material taught in the normal classroom setting. IIP addresses a range of academic needs with seamless integration into the academic day. Your child has interests that can build confidence and springboard success in the classroom. Rectory’s middle school has 39 athletic teams in 21 different sports. Although inter-school competition is a large part of our program, emphasis on individual success, enjoyment, skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship are at the core of our program. Our Arts programs offer invaluable opportunities for creative expression and personal growth. Imagination and innovation, fostered by the immersion in the arts, spill into the classroom and enhance our students’ academic skill development. England Founders League sports, and a diverse menu of activities, clubs, and trips allowing students to explore many interests. Trinity-Pawling’s Center for Learning Achievement houses a number of support services to assist students in reaching their academicpotential. Individualized instructional programs are available for students who have language-based learning differences, and for students with executive function difficulties. Inspired by inquiry, our Learning Labs are the unofficial help desks of Trinity-Pawling. One of the School’s most distinctive programs is the Effort System, which began nearly 50 years ago. Each boy at Trinity-Pawling is assessed for the effort he devotes to a given endeavor: academics, athletics, dormitory responsibilities, civic engagement, attendance, and extracurricular programs. The learning objective inherent in this ethos of effort is to teach boys that the more they invest of themselves the greater their accomplishments will be. Schedule a visit today!
