One goal of the Women In Trucking Association is to ensure each workplace is an exceptional one for women in all roles. And for the fifth consecutive year, WIT has recognized Averitt as a leader in doing that! Our team was once again named as one of the Top Companies For Women To Work For In Transportation. According to Women In Trucking, the winners are companies that support gender diversity through “flexible hours and work requirements to accommodate family and life balance, competitive compensation and benefits, training and continued professional development, and career advancement opportunities.” The selection process was an extensive one. Nominations were reviewed based on those criteria, then they were put to a vote among transportation industry professionals.
