● In the event of a fire in load during transit, find a safe place to stop and consider ejecting the load from vehicle if safe to do so.

Tipping
RCV vehicles fitted with body props on sides of hoppers and fitted a door close safety feature preventing the driver fully closing the hopper door from the cab.
• Keep a minimum distance of 1 vehicle width from other vehicles on stable ground (1.5 times the height of the vehicle for unstable ground) • Tip on level ground • Follow site rules and speed limits • Wear PPE including high visibility clothing, hard hat, task specific gloves as a minimum when at disposal points • Do not shunt to move or eject waste - lower body and repeat procedure or seek assistance. • Never walk or work under an unpropped body/hopper. Use body props in all instances
